Peter Manning, a menswear company based in Dumbo, Brooklyn, makes a great lightweight field jacket. It’s a perfect transition piece to layer for the colder months, but also one that can be worn all year round. Because of this, I consider a lightweight jacket to be a wardrobe staple.
This Tribeca Field Jacket is lined with a plaid cotton on the inside, providing comfort and warmth and adding a classic heritage look. Other details include three inside pockets with drawstrings, three outside pockets, an adjustable waist and wrist buttons that allow easy modifications for a perfect fit. It comes in Olive and Tan.
This is an excellent piece to either dress up or down. I would wear it more casually with a white tee shirt, jeans and sneakers or formally over a blazer with dress pants and dress shoes. The Tribeca Field Jacket will be a constant choice in my wardrobe and I expect to wear it, in all seasons. for many years to come.
